I picked up this lovely necklace at Forever21 a few weekends ago. I'm not a big jewelary person, but I really adore this necklace, kind of quirky, but just right!

Hello there, I have a little secret. It actually wasn't raining in these photos. For the majority of that week it poured, but at that given moment, it wasn't. :). Now though, it's pretty hot outside. I think it's supposed to be almost 90 degrees! Ah!

I think I may go for a bike ride this morning before it gets to hot.

Certian things in my wardrobe I just gravitate towards all the time. This used to be one of those peices, but I guess it may have "gotten lost in the depths of my closet"? Not really sure though, maybe because it's a tad short, but I still think it's my favorite dress... Well, one of them. Last September, I actually went through a whole phase with polka dots (did I ever get out of it?) but literally, everyday I would just be wearing polka-dots. I did some sort of feature called "Polka-Dotted Days". I was tempted to call my post that, but there are already approximately 5 or 6 posts with that very same title.

Itsn't it kind of ironic that I have a post about polka-dots, but then the title says stripes! Haha!

Now looking at these pictures, I'm thinking that my hair looks really short. In the recent past I did get a haircut, and these were only from a few weeks ago. I don't know, I guess I'm still unconsiously used to having a bit longer hair? I'm not really sure!

These shorts are another fairly recent purchase from Delia's, and I must say, I'm so satisfied. I've been coveting these shorts since about September, but they're a bit on the pricy side so I've been kind of putting it off. But I found a fairly similar pair in the same wash, also high waisted. Also, they're about $20 cheaper, score.

Finally! I made a gif! It took such a long time to figure it out, I wish I had sooner or I would have posted several more times this week! I really hope you like it, it took so much time to make, along with many failed attempts. Actually, I took the walking photos from way further back, but I was unable to make a gif of more than 10 photos on any given site. So, it is what it is. A few weeks ago now, I went to Delia's to restock on my shorts for the summer, and I picked up these little lovely shorts on sale for only $15! Score! I love them, they are so comfortable and I can see myself wearing them all summer.For some reason (I can't believe I'm saying this but...) they seem almost slightly "menswear" inspired. I don't really know, but I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot of them over the next few months!

In my last post I forgot to mention I took a small adventure down main street to the local farm to take pictures of some of the lovely flowers, I probably took over 130 photos may guess, so I figured I would share a few of my favorites, I hope you enjoy!

I think there may be a Part II (and III) to this installment due to the massive amounts of flower photos I have taken.

Blue-Green Haze

Well, even if you don't I must say it is amazing how irrelevant it seems to my life now even though it was only a few months ago (it feels like ages though). It's so strange the way time decides to pass, for exampleI feel like I just started school a few weeks ago, but now it's almost June, and schools almost out for the the summer. So odd. And even a test from a few weeks ago that I was so worried about, just feels kind of unimportant, and like ages ago. It's such a strange feeling.

Last week when these photos were taken I grabbed my tripod and my camera tossed it in a bag and went for a bikeride, this is one of my older spots where I used to take pictures quite frequently, but something just made me get out of the habit, I'm not sure what. I'm happy I went though, I haven't really been to thrilled with my photo locations lately. Though I have been loving my outifts! (Knock on wood). It's just so easy to get dressed every morning now, I don't have to worry about tights boots or scarves (most days), I just choose a dress a skirt or shorts, throw on a top and a cardigan and just go (Don't forget those trusty Minnetonkas!). This is actually one of my favorite skirts to wear, but sometimes I just run out of ideas for styling it, though my wardrobe is quite abundent in blues and greens I guess you could say a blue-green haze, sometimes I just don't know how to style it. That day I styled quite simply, just a black tank top (black and blue, gasp!:) and a peacock feather. Once again, you got to love the simplicity!

Loveliness

Last week was so lovely! This week it has been absolutely pouring. Though I think I mentioned this yesterday, it has quite enough...ummm.. potentcy (?) to be mentioned again. So figure now, along with catching up on my posts, I would show something along the lines of what I would like to be wearing (Completely different from the attitude in my last post, I know). Then maybe a skirt or a dress, I got a dress filled with loveliness that I hope you will be seeing soon.
