Ever since Mother's Day, we got my Mom two Cacti and along with her loving them, I've been quite.. obsessive with taking photos of them! I don't know they just have a lot of character, and here are some of the favorite photos I've taken, enjoy!

I love jumping shots! AHHH!

It's so rare I capture a lot of movement with this skirt in photos! It's my favorite twirly and twisty skirt! I always spin when I wear it! I think I took over twenty photos of me jumping, but I could only choose my favorites! I really love this skirt though, it's one of my favorite skirts. It's such a vivid color, and I really don't have a lot of purple in my wardrobe, but it's such a fun skirt and it seems to match a lot of stuff in my closet!

No need for me to look so happy:). In a lot of my pictures I realize, I really don't smile that much, maybe it's the braces (which I really don't want to post a picture of), but contrary to the person I portray here, I am really happy and rather smiley, not quite as... not solemn, but serious? Hmmm can't quite find the word, but hope you catch my drift.. I don't know, I feel almost as if I act differently in person as I appear on this blog..

I feel like in ye olden days (aka last summer), this would have been an outfit I'd have worn in a second, now I still like it, but it's not really my go to these days. Not really trying to make a point or anything, just making an observation.

Back To Business

Hey kids, nice weather we're having.

I've only had this skirt in my closet for about 6 months by now, but it has become a favorite in my wardrobe. I've worn it cold, warm and medium weather style. I love the summer ones because it is such a simple and light skirt, very easy to wear during the summer, and I feel as if it just blends into my wardrobe very well. +++ I can think of a bunch of ways to style it! I think that'll be a new rule of mine the next time I get clothes, "Can I picture something to wear it with?". Who knows! Maybe that will actually happen....

Happy Fathers Day!

Dear Dad, I don't think you read my blog, but happy fathers day! I think I've written a few things about my dad here on this blog (I would put a link, but I can't find it!), but anyway, thank you for being a great dad over these past years, love you so much! Have a great rest of your fathers day!

Today my dad and I went for a trip up to Bear Mountain and took some lovely photos (his were amazing!) He said he wasn't sure how they turned out, but I'm sure they're beautiful:), Love you Dad, thanks for taking me with you today! I have so much more to say than this, but I can't quite put them into words, but, I love you Dad!

I think I wore this dress on Wednesday, it was one of the hottest days of the week (went over 100 degrees) anyway, this is my lightest dress therefore I saved it for that day. I came into school and apparently two girls I know told me they were going to wear the same dress that day, haha!

Back In Reality...

I feel as if with some of my outfit posts, some photos just don't come out as well on camera as they do in real life. Maybe the lighting, the location, and the time of day might be contributing to this? Maybe all three which would seem most realistic of a theory. This is not a complaint, just an observation.

Fickle Few

I feel like I almost have pieces in my wardrobe that I just gravitate towrds. Some pieces I wear constantly, while some get lost in my closet. This dress is the perfect example. Actually, I didn't really forget it, but everytime I think about wearing it, I find something different to wear for that day, and just say "I'll wear it tommorow..". Maybe that's kind my theme from this past week? Wearing "forgotten items" or atleast I've been attempting to wear the less-loved things in my weardrobe. Everytime I wear this dress, I never understand why it has so few wears (other than the fear of staining it) it's such a lovely, simple dress, with a great fit. Maybe it'll get more wears this summer, who knows?

It's The Final Countdown

Hello everyone, due to a massive amount of finals this week, I shall not be doing a lot of posting. Therefore I shall attempt to post all of my "catch-up" posts this morning before I start cramming. Most of my posts won't be what you would call "wordy". (Unless I decide otherwise, which I may or may not, we'll see). Really I'll just be posting as fast as I can/procrastinating.

I'm not really a big vest person, I actually think this is the only vest in my closet, I really haven't ever understood the point of having a sweater without sleeves, I've just never quite understood the reasoning of it. I think vests might be growing on me a bit, especiallly this one, I think I've worn it about 5 times in the past couple weeks.
