Dance, Dance, Dance!

A few weeks ago I had a dance at my school, it took me until now to post my dress! Well, since I've started reading blogs I've been hearing praises about Modcloth. I must say I'm so pleased with this experience! I highly recommend it. Actually on the website it said it ran small in the bust and waist, but it was actually a tad big on me in the bust and waist when I got it (Haha, says a lot, I'm just really tiny!). I took it to the tailor and it worked out just fine, and I'm so happy with this lovely and unique looking find!

Retro, Honey

Whenever I buy my clothes, I get them because I love them, and if they are unique. I always try and shop and kind of obscure places where I can find things with a one-of-a-kind feel to them. Not to mention and reasonably low price. The most expensive place I get clothes from is probably American Apparel, and I'm not there to often. But I've found that some of the places I shop, a lot of other bloggers don't really shop there, no matter how on a budget they may be. For starters Marshall's and TJMaxx, both lovely stores and great prices, always kind of unexpected. Another one would be Kohl's, I'm not there too often but they always have great patterned basic tank tops. Those are just a few places but I'm just giving a few examples.

One place I've discovered is a hotspot for most bloggers is thrifting. I don't really shop vintage, and I've always found it kind of odd that literally every blogger shops vintage. Would I love to shop vintage? Sure! I love retro things! But I'm just stating that it just seems that way to me. Not a complaint, merely an observation.

Simple

I always feel as if when the cold finally stops, I always want it to be winter again! I mean, I'm loving the warmth here (well not at this very moment). But ever since the winter ended I keep on having fantastic ideas for outfits and such in the winter! Haha, of course that would happen though. I'm happy that the seasons do change around here though. I don't think I could stand it if there was only one season. All year. I must say though, I am adoring the lovely spring weather, I love just putting on a dress for the day, no tights, I love going for bike rides, I really just love the simplicity of it. It's ironic that I say that right now, because it is raining. It rained all weekend, but on Sunday it absolutely poured. Also it's supposed to rain all this week, so I guess I kind of just contradicted myself there, as I feel I do quite often on this blog.

Oh Well. Thoughts and opinions do change

Friday The 13th!

Friday the 13th! Ooohhh Spooky! I don't know if I'm necessarily supersticious, but some things I just do out of habit to prevent bad luck and such. But I've never really been supersticious towards Friday the 13th, actually I've always found the hype quite amusing.
